The Dark Rift

I started out as a “find the ancient powerful artifact' story but then it went deep into religious mythology.
It also included global conspiracies and the beginning of a battle between good and evil.
The long lecture on the embodiment of evil and its relationship to the force of good
got real tedious.
I won't be reading the remaining two books.
