”The Dollmakers” offers a captivatingly original world with inventive, intricate details. While I admired the fresh worldbuilding, I struggled to connect with the main character, whose behaviors felt over-exaggerated and the growth contrived. However, the author’s creativity shows great promise and I look forward to seeing how her talent evolves in future works.
