The Dream

I had a lot of issues with this one. With Ashley's behavior & indecision, with Davis's behavior - both in the present AND in the past as well as the, frankly, cruel confrontation forcing, with Chad's “apology” (it WAS an apology, I guess I just feel like it wasn't as much as it needed to be for the amount of pain he caused...do you really just get over physical, emotional & sexual assault immediately?)

While I appreciate the end they arrived at, I feel like this one really would have benefitted from some perspective from Davis (it could have even come from Emmie earlier - I mean, seriously, this family is the GOAT at butting in & THIS time, they're all going to keep a secret?!?) as well as more care paid to the trauma of surviving - and healing from abuse & assault.

Ultimately, I don't begrudge the author her choices & this is supposed to be a fun, flirty romcom. I just feel like a lot of opportunities were missed here.
