The clown has gone, and the farmer is alone...or so he thinks....Who arrives at his door but a circus monkey? The monkey is wildly mischievous and the farmer put him out, only to find the next day that the monkey is mired in an overnight snowfall. The monkey can't stay outside, so he returns to the warmth of the house. How will things go now?
The ups and downs of friendship...the consolations of companions...what we are willing to tolerate to assuage our loneliness....these are the lovely themes of this wordless book.
