Another fine outing with Amos Decker. My only real complaint is that the plot started to get repetitive and the twists a little overdone. Otherwise, a solid four stars.
I really enjoyed this story, the series is getting better with each book in my opinion! I like that one of the characters from the last book who isn't in the FBI squad turned up in this book, that was a surprise.
This book read like an unnecessarily drawn out episode of Law & Order. The path of logic was predictable, I was coming to conclusions well before the characters to the point it was painful. The character relationships were stale and inauthentic. Baldacci is my favorite author and this book truly let me down. I give the rating cause I was able to finish it due to Decker being an entertaining main character & the twist at the end was a bit unexpected z
