The forgiven duke
Tethered by her impulsive promise to marry Lord John Lemon, Alexandria Featherstone sets off toward Iceland in search of her parents. The adventure continues. The pace does not let up at all, but even here the story does not end.
I really hated the whole John Lemon thing. Especially how it ended! He felt like a slimy, unnecessary part. He wasn't even a convincing villain. I'd have given the book five stars if he hadn't been a part of it. Especially when he had such a good uncle. There's some pretty mature subject matter here too, with possible rape, a lot of violence, and a graphically described death.
I really liked how much the duke matures in this, though. His trails seem to be making quite the man of him.
