My favourite book of the Fulton U series! Throughout the whole series I was anticipating to finally read JL and Marisa's story, and it didn't disappoint.
The friends to lovers trope was beautifully done, the tension, the deep emotional connection since childhood, the should we/should we not... I could go on and on.
LJ's and Marisa's backstories were thought out and gave important depth to the characters, leading me to understand the decisions they made along their way. I particularly enjoyed the complicated relationship between Marisa and her Dad, liked how it progressed and even got emotional at the end of the book because of it.
The only thing that bugged me was the weird scene after they first hooked up, (Both were virgins but they went at it like bunnies?!?! It was very unrealistic and weird to read) and minor miscommunication, or rather no communication at all.
