Stefan Dalca... Stefan freaking Dalca! Y'all, this book and this man chef's kiss. I've been making my way through @elsie's Gold Rush Ranch series and this is my favorite so far! This is an enemies to lovers story with fake dating mixed in, and it definitely does not disappoint. The female main character, Mira was 34 which I appreciated and made her more relatable. Stefan is a dreamy male main character whose confidence adds to his appeal. Stefan pulls Mira out of her comfort zone in the best possible way. I found this book to be much spicier than the previous books in the series. This is an adult romance, 18+ for language and sexual content

The emotion in this took me by surprise!!!

Stefan is the enemy to Gold Rush Ranch, he is the competition down the road.

Mira is the local vet, with a sassy snarky side.

She sees the good, or at least the decent, in Stefan. She defends him to her friends that hate him.

He teases her and asks her on dates, she always declines. But secretly loves it

They grow close, and start going in a couple of “fake dates” but they are real to him. He finds her interesting and wants to keep her close.
She regularly visits his farm to care for the horses, and they slowly build a friendship.

I really really enjoyed the banter and the attitude these two had, in a good natured way. We love smart strong independent woman, who choose to embrace their sexy and feminine side.

Didn't think I was going to enjoy this book but came out in love with Stefan Dalca! I need more of this man for sure.
