The Guest of Cold Farm

I enjoyed this one for the most part. I LOVED the atmospheric setting and feel that it had. The writing was fine. The pace was good. The plot was original and engaging. The characters were intriguing. Unfortunately, what let this one down was the romance aspect. As in I didn't feel like there was any romance at all. Dawson felt incredibly underdeveloped, and because of that I just didn't feel any connection between him and Melissa. I honestly think this book could have been fantastic had it been much longer and the characters and plot much more fleshed out.
