A great conclusion to the trilogy. The story continues with the party of friends chasing after the assassin Artemis Entreri, who has abducted Regis. The fights they get involved in, and the inevitable duel Drizzt has with Artemis are, as is Salvatore's style, very well-crafted and written. The characters also undergo moments of reflection and a re-affirming of themselves and each other, which also done in a way that is touching, and can be reminiscent of the real world.
Another good book, but the one that most makes it clear the non-adult audience. Cathy Bree's character tone it down way too much the “violence” level. The “I'll leave the bad guy alive” cliche it's a painful one.
