Happiness. I'm fascinated with happiness. Which led me to this book.
I knew, of course, about Chris Guillebeau and his quest to visit every country in the world (successful). He derived so much happiness from this quest that he decided to seek out others who set other big goals for their lives and interview them. He ended up interviewing hundreds of questers.
And that is this book.
I liked this book. I enjoyed reading the stories of people who set big goals, huge goals, almost-impossible goals, and worked to meet them, and even (some) met them. But it disappointed me, too. It really isn't a lot more than a compilation of the many interviews Guillebeau did with those goal-setters. And I had hoped for a bit more.
The stories were fascinating, nevertheless. If that's what you hope for, you will find many, many interesting quests and questers. But, if you are like me, and hope want to learn about happiness, you may leave this book a little disappointed.
