The success of a mystery to me is if I do not guess the killer and I debated between two for most of the book and then at the last minute added a third - no I am not going to tell (laugh). I will say like a good mystery movie, everybody dies and that is the best part. As a reader of many series books you automatically assume who is going to live and Burton surprises with the direction of this series and I loved it. Anna and Dante have great chemistry and a past which helps to solidify a foundation that would not normally have during this mystery. The only thing I have to say I was a little unsatisfied with was the romantic ending as it seemed beneath the characters to me - like a cop out - a play on words here.
