I loved this! A nice short fantasy story. I immediately got into the story and the illustrations are so beautiful that I stayed on a page for a while after I finished reading it. Though it's geared towards children I think everyone would enjoy this light read. I'd love to read more books like this!
A fun, but dark, little children's story about dragons and winter, which has some thematic similarities to Martin's Song of Ice and Fire series. Enjoyable enough but nothing special.

A cute, sad and poetic short-story, very faithful with the traditional fairytale outline. I enjoyed it.
I thought I was too salty about ASOIAF to enjoy Martin much anymore, but this was a really lovely fairy tale, lushly illustrated. It looks like a novella, but it's really a short story, and Martin's prose works really well within those confines. If you like a story that feels like an old tale but with a modern take, definitely give this one a try.
I listened to this one and really liked it.
This is a short story about a girl named Adara and an ice dragon.
Very powerful short story. I don't think I understand all the thematic significance going on here but I was very moved regardless.
While I understand this was GRRM's attempt at a book for middle-grade readers, and while I believe GRRM's prose is solid...this book was just sort of an empty fairy tale that did not really do anything for me.
