Loved this. Beautifully written and I got thoroughly hooked. The dual timeline moved the story along with great pace and it's one of those books that rewards you if you just go with it (like a lot of magical realism I guess). Highly recommended.
This one was a win, I don't know if the plot was that excellent or the writing style, but I really enjoyed this one.
this book was fine, just definitely not for me. i preferred one timeline over the other, the storytelling style didn't totally work for me, and the writing style was not bad by any means, just a bit too on the nose for my taste. i would say for fans of addie larue and evelyn hugo.
