entre la polémica con la autora y ahora este libro que parece que no conoce a sus propios personajes...en fin, vean smallville para una mejor vida
More of a 3.5.
I wanted to check this out purely because of nostalgia, because I hardly read contemporaries these days. But it was nice to meet such old beloved characters. One of the stories was one I had read previously, but the other three were new. They were sweet as well as slightly angsty, and overall just gave me a good feeling about getting to know more about these characters' lives. But it ended up being something I was not completely in love with, and I'm not sure why. Maybe I've just outgrown these kinds of stories. But I will end by saying, there was exactly one sentence mention of Wesmie and I would do anything to read more about their future.
I didn't have any expectations about this book. I don't think we needed it, but I still enjoyed reading it!
My favorite couples, before reading this book, were Allie and Dean, Garrett and Hannah. It's not a surprise that their stories were my favorites in this book.
It was great to read about these characters again.
Hannah and Garrett's story was my favorite because of his big decision in the end. It felt like a great step forward for Garrett. regarding his abusive father
I loved Dean and Allie's story too.
I think all of the 4 stories felt real and rooted in real-life struggles and issues.
It all was solved too fast ofc, considering the book is short and is focused on the 4 couples.
overall rating is a 3.8 starIndividual ratings for each novellas;Hannah and Garrett-5/5Logan and Grace- 4/5Dean and Allie- 3/5Sabrina and Tucker- 3/5 Might change ratings later on:)I feel like the reason Tuck and Sabrina's novella got the low rating(evn tho they r my fav couple) is that they didn't need to have so much bad things happening to them. It was like one bad thing after another and i was here like why? why why!!!But Garrett and Hannah's novella was the cherry on top I LOVED IT!!!I do wish we had gotten more of the pregnancy, the elopement, and the marriage vows coz that would have been amazing!Sad that the series is ending coz I LOVED THE ENTIRE THING!! One of my fav series of all time and I might start [b:The Chase 34851664 The Chase (Briar U, #1) Elle Kennedy https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1530890863l/34851664.SY75.jpg 56089158] next but want to give myself some time to process this series first:))
I absolutely loved being back with my favorite Off-Campus
boys again! I have loved this series and getting to know all of
the amazing characters that Elle Kennedy has created for us
to enjoy. The Legacy is a book comprised of four novellas
that are essentially epilogues to everyone's stories. I felt like
everyone got amazing resolution and closure except for one
couple, and I'm kind of bitter about it since they're one of my
favorites. Otherwise it was a good read if you enjoyed the
series. I took off one star because I felt like I had unanswered
questions at the end for one of the couples, and their story
felt unfinished to me. These are adult romance novellas. 18+
for sexual content, language, and themes
Aw I loved this, it was like catching up with old friends! Just so comforting and fun to be back in this world and see what the couples are up to. :)

I have nothing to say other than this is the only one in the series i wont re-read
If I had one word to describe this book, it would be disappointing.
After recently finishing the whole Off-Camus and Briar U series, I was very excited to read this novella and dive back into these characters and their relationships, which were so lovable and pure. I knew I couldn't expect just a feel-good story and just cute domestic moments, because of a early review I read, but still it was very disappointing.
The characters did not feel like themselves and some definitely acted out of character several times. The conflicts were mostly unnecessary and some of the plot from the original books were brought back and reused. When the story and the people didn't aggravate me, I was just bored.
The only novella that I liked (and I use this word loosely) was the one about Dean and Allie. Especially the scene where Dean practiced his proposal in front of Graham and Logan.
So now I pretend that this book does not exist, except for the few scenes that I enjoyed.
rating - 3 / 5
This was so cute but there were just soooo many things that brought the rating down for me.
*sigh *
Honestly, the most important question is - did this book need to be written? like it absolutely adds nothing to the book universe. The author could've literally added a wedding, elopement, pregnancy and honeymoon epilogue chapter at the end of every book and it would serve the same purpose. The only reason I enjoyed this book were the group chats and the small banter. Those were pretty cute and fun to read:)
A feel-good happy epilogue set in the future, is what I was expecting. What i got instead was a lead-up to a supposed happy ending, without actually giving us this ending. Elle Kennedy literally handed us four parts of chaos and real life problems with dissatisfying character arcs disguised as an epilogue.
There's no denying Alexander was the main character. I did enjoy the joke.. the first 5 times. like??? Oookay you have a haunted doll; Is that all you'll talk about for 300 pages though?? repetitive much?
Overall, somehow it just didn't work for me. Grace and Logan's story was cute, but like? atleast! give! us! the! vows! T_T that's literally what an epilogue is for.
Same with Sabrina and Tuck. I pushed through near plane crashes, coconuts falling and arrests for what?? give us something!!! big happy endings? remember those? a job offer felt really insignificant, in my opinion. A new house, them moving in? Jamie's first day of school? would've felt more like it.
Coming to Hannah and Garett. They were definitely my favourite characters and their story was easily the worst (sorry not sorry). You expect me to believe the IT couple of communicating went 8/10 chapters not talking about their literal baby? AND the author had the nerve to put them last—
Dean and Allie's part, (and Grace and Logan's slightly) was the only one i probably enjoyed. It didn't seem out of character and had just the right amount of conflict.
Another issue I had, was the fact that I haven't read Briar U; so I wasn't able to appreciate the characters from there being in it.
So, although i loved revisiting a few characters I'd loved before; I don't think you'd be missing out on anything in terms of plot if you decided not to read the legacy.
