I wanted to read this for robots. Instead I got a monotonous portrayal of a hollow shell of a woman, who might be an artist and might be in love with a robot, but more likely she's in love with herself and refuses to admit it. I'm done.
What I really liked about this book is the depiction of the future. Climate change “disasters” caused huge shifts in where & how people lived, yet they just kept on adjusting - and making the same mistakes.
That's not really the main story, but it was so believable as the framework in which the story is set that it made the main story all the more poignant. The more things change, the more they stay the same.
