I can't believe that I'm saying this but there wasn't enough book stuff in all honesty
The book took a little while to get into but I did enjoy the slight mystery aspect of figuring out what had been going on in Essie's life before Liv joined her. I really enjoyed the twist and the ending of the book.
I found it unbelievable that she didn't know the date or general date of her father's death. That ruined the entire tale. Early in I knew something with her dads death was vital, but couldn't believe she wouldn't remember about when he died. And I'm speaking from experience.
Fun, casual listen.
Was amused that I had read a few of the books that Liv had mentioned such as the Steven king book about writing, the Seven husbands, and Garden Spells.

This was just not my favorite. I wouldn't normally have picked it up based on the description, but it was a book club pick, so I went for it.
Overall I just found it so difficult to believe. It was just not plausible, and there were way too many things that happened because it was just convenient for the story arc. I did like that it was about a novelist and a woman who deserves some good things happening to her, but it didn't have much else going for it.
