The Missing of Clairdelune

This was better than the first book.

I was fascinated by the “mirror visitor” quality, which is kind of a misnomer, or misinterpretation - she uses mirrors as doors, passes from mirror to mirror, she doesn't visit mirrors. In the first book it was one of the best parts of the book, in this book there was lot of other things that made me like this one better. Mainly that people weren't talking over her head so much in this book. She started taking space and speaking up and acting instead of things just happening to her.
Also, other people are getting consequences of their actions. In the first book it felt like people just did what they wanted and no-one cared about whose fault things were.

There is a lot of violence in this book, though. And some scenes that might be too much for sensitive people. like the Knight being punished - he was an evil brat, but still a child, and even though the punishment doesn't hurt, they say, it was rather icky
