The Name of the Wind

My thoughts, not actually a review.

A good chunk of The Name of the Wind sounds like something Patrick fantasized about as a young adult.

Where was all the good prose I heard about? Most of the "poetry" writing style sounds like something I would've come up with when I'm depressed and look back at how cringe it was.

Denna is an absolutely horrible character. Everything about her is toxic. F**k her.

If I ever get a fireplace this book will be my first firewood then it won't be money wasted and I can drink to the time lost.
