The Night Before

I should know by now that reading before bed is something dangerous, but I couldn't help myself and I started and finished this book in a few hours. I has been a wild ride.

I wasn't expecting surprises or twists because I thought the story would just move forward. However, the plot was so well constructed that the story became more complex and profound that I imagined. Also, the psychological aspect of the book made pause and wonder about the difficult relationships in the families.

My first impression of the characters was completely shattered as the story progressed, and I'm glad for that because it showed me that the mystery was deeper than I initially expected.

In general, it was an awesome book, and I'm glad I read it. I'm eager to see more upcoming books of this author.
