The One: A Short Story

Love at first sight is put to the ultimate test.

There is a reason why I do not review authors I crush on that often and it is because I rarely find fault with their writings. I have to be honest, I did not pick this short story - my Book Club did. When I started reading it, I thought “Fuck, I am going to fail Book Club again with my lack of response.” (laugh) Then...(laugh) I am not going to give away what happens in The One (B07HXXJM3P, 2018) by K.C. Luck.

Let me say though that Luck never fails me. This is an excellent short story and it is all due...nope not saying it. I will say though that for you lovebirds out there you will love it too. Luck brings old-fashioned hopes and dreams of what love should be and what we all hope it should be to this short story. Then Luck does what I need Luck to do and damn...it is a really good ending. I confess, I wanted to kiss her when I read the ending. I almost tweeted that and then I thought maybe a little stalkerish - “a little”?!
