The peace and America

The peace and America

Munsterberg was writing during the first years of World War I, in the period of American neutrality. As a German immigrant, he sought to foster peace between his home country and his adopted country, and this book was one of two (the other being *The War in America*) that tried to outline the reasons behind the war and encourage understanding between the two countries.
