The Pharaoh Key

Not having read the previous books in the Gideon Crew series, I sometimes felt the emotional impact of the events in the book were a bit understated, although that could well be because I was new to the characters. There was no lack of excitement in the story itself, and although I did guess at some of the “twists” in the narrative before they occurred, that did not diminish the pleasure of reading it.
