Great information. A little poetic at times which was sometimes lovely and other times not to my taste.
I appreciate the effort to make what would otherwise be a dry, recitation of facts into something more fun, but this book is far too romantic for my tastes. And I did not appreciate the constant references to supernatural and mystical things... I'm reading for science, not magic here.
I rather enjoyed this little book! It explains the planets and solar system in everyday language while drawing on history, myth, science fiction, art, literature which makes what could be dry, boring material come to life and enjoyable to read. There is nothing earth shattering in the info covered in the book, but it provides am entertaining refresher!!
