The Rains

DNF. Major trigger warning as the very beginning of this book details the main character being raped. I didn't read very far beyond that.

This book was amazing, Read it!! You won't be able to put it down!
It makes you cry, laugh, and cry some more.
You love the characters!

Giving this a solid three stars–I just liked it. It definitely gave me the feels a couple of times, but I didn't find it to be a very satisfying romance: There's a love triangle, which I don't normally have a problem with, but add in rape, death via drunk driver, cancer, and more death, and it was just too much angst without development or resolution for my HEA tastes. I guess I just found it to be too realistic and serious for the mood I was in. Shout out for U of Iowa though–go Hawks!
