THE MAN seemed to be honest. He ap- peared very level headed and sensible. But the account he gave to Sherlock Holmes was extraordinary.
Mr. Wilson seemed to have secured a lucrative job. The salary was very high, the hours were minimal, and the duties consisted only of recopying the encyclopedia. Not a typical job, he ad- mitted, but what was really unusual was that to qualify for the position, he had to have red hair.
Then one day, weeks later, Mr. Wil- son found his job had ended as myste- riously as it had begun. Something was amiss.
It was a challenge Sherlock Holmes could not resist. As he unravels the clues in the story of the red-headed man, Sherlock Holmes displays his ex- traordinary skills of perception. So come along as this Creative Short Story leads you down a trail of mystery and intrigue you will not soon forget.
