Rush is really sweet and adorable and has no filter, and Hunter is really good for and with him, but beyond that there's nothing exceptional about this.
It's a sweet read for a day when you need a pick me up, but not much else.
I really did like that Rush's ADHD was not treated as something to ‘fix', though, and that even beyond the other characters, he loved himself as is. As for how realistic the portrayal was, I don't know enough to comment either way. But those aspects did stand out.
