The Robber Bridegroom

Seven short stories - Snow White being the most famous of them.
They varied a bit, but were enjoyable in the context of fairy tales... its just the irritation that the setup for these is so easy - eg in ‘The Six Servants' story the prince finds six servants with bizarre specific skills/ailments which just happen to match up with the requirements of the three (and additional) tasks to pass before marrying the Princess. And yes, every princess is beautiful, and every queen wicked... I know, I know they are fairytales... it just seems to me they are a bit... easy.
But as I say, for fairytales, this is a pretty good little collection.
