“To bygones.”

The SEAL's Secret Heirs is the fifth book in the Texas Cattleman's Club: Lies and Lullabies Miniseries. I haven't read the previous books, so I can assure you that it can be read as a standalone because Kat Cantrell sets the background perfectly! I've got to say that I'll probably go back to read Liam and Hadley's story because I loved both of them through this book.

Kyle Wade left Royal ten years ago because of a misleading event that changed his life. He joined the Navy and never looked back. He wasn't supposed to come back to Royal but his life changes unexpectedly once more and he has to return home. To the ranch he never wanted, to his twin brother (they were never close) and to Grace, his high school girlfriend.

Grace is an independent woman, she has a career that fulfills her but she can't move on romantically. Not after Kyle. She has high standards and well, she isn't going to settle with someone who doesn't even know how to spell standards (loved this dialogue between the girls!). When Kyle returns, Grace has to face him and, as Kyle's babies caseworker, has to evaluate his ability to be a good father and provide the best environment for his daughters.

Can Kyle prove to Grace that he's the best choice to raise his babies?

Will Grace and Kyle trust each other and overcome their past? Just read their story to find out!

I am a huge fan of second chance romances and I loved Kyle and Grace's emotional journey so much that I read it in one sitting because I just couldn't put it down! And the horse show... EPIC!

I highly recommend The SEAL's Secret Heirs to anyone who wants to read an entertaining, emotional, beautifully written, fast paced story and to anyone who loves second chance romances with red-hot chemistry.
