Chance Barrett Connelly is the recently discovered son of Grant Connelly, one of the other set of twins. While on medical leave, he'd used the chance to meet his relatives. And there he met Jennifer, a beautiful widow with a sick eighteen month old daughter, Sarah. For many years, he'd done his best to be forgettable. He'd never had a relationship that had lasted more than a week. He'd hadn't wanted a woman at home for him. Hadn't wanted to have to worry about anyone but himself.
