I loved it! Only sad that there wasn't more! I would love to see more of Maxon's point of view after the third book.

So, really, I didn't mean to read this. I was volunteering at the library and it was super slow so I picked this up because I figured I could finish it before I had to leave.
I was right.
Really, this isn't a bad book. It's just not great. I guess it's cute, but I just think my reading preferences have moved past The Selection. If you've read The Selection, this book is alright. The Prince is much more entertaining than The Guard, in my opinion, but neither felt like they had much effort put into them.
Kiera, my girl. We had a good run. But I think I'm done with this author and these books.
