Holy plot twist Batman! I enjoyed this book a lot! The story grabbed my attention and drew me in for the ride. It's fun to read a book that you don't want to put down, one that you want to know what's coming next. Great read - can't wait to discuss at this month's book club!
Riley MacPherson has returned to her childhood home to settle her father's estate. As she begins to sort through her father's things she learns things about her family that she never knew. She finds a box of old newspaper clippings about her sister who committed suicide but as she digs further she begins to think she might be alive. Riley's world is turned upside-down as everything she believed about her family turns out to be a lie.
This was a pretty good book. I think the only thing I didn't like was the fact that I knew what was going to be the “surprise” pretty early on. The main character is likable and you are hoping that she finds peace. I do like how it left the story open ended sort of with the epilogue.
