The Slow Burn

This book was okay. Which was a let down because I wanted to love it. I loved The Hookup. And knowing that Addie was the opposite of her sister I expected more spiciness. I teared up more in this one LOL. It was missing the big IT, I guess. I love all the characters and everything came full circle. It all ended wrapped up in a nice neat bow. I'm glad it's a duet because as much as I like and appreciate the side characters....not every side character needs their own story. Sometimes a side kick is just a side kick. And I have little desire to hear any of their stories.
Maybe if this was the first book followed by The Hookup then perhaps I'd feel different. Again...not a bad book. But I wanted more than just okay. Because I'm needy like that.
