The squirrel wife

Everyone is afraid of the mysterious Green People who live in the woods, but one stormy night Jack is brave enough to do them a great service. As a reward the Fairy King presents him with a strange and beautiful squirrel-wife, who teaches him all the secrets of the forest. For a while life is good, but Jack's cruel and envious brother is determined to cause trouble. Suggested level: junior, primary.
