From 1938 comes this tale of the future, precisely as people in 1938 saw the future, namely just like 1938 but more so.

In this case, the story revolves around making a movie on Mars. So, there are Hollywood moguls, a star system, stars under tight contracts, and Hollywood on the Moon. It's all good fun as Hollywood fixer, Tony Quade, gets a film made on location on Mars. The film is required to include a scene set in the inferno region where no sentient creature can go without having its nervous system scrambled.
