reading children books to relax before bed is supposed to be relaxing but here I am reading 72 pages about a rabbit nearly dying on every page
I read the Velveteen Rabbit yesterday which is also about a rabbit trynna survive... why do all these children book authors have it out for rabbits so much. What did they ever do to the human race?
anyways RIP Peter rabbits father, I would've eaten the pie he was killed to be made in but still :( rip buddy :(
Cute little story I remember from when I was little. Read today for Beatrix Potter's 150th birthday

Read this with my two year old and he loved it. A timeless story. Highly recommended.
I had such a charming time with Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle I decided to revisit the whole series! This is definitely a ‘behave children, and listen to your mother or it will go badly for you' story, but you can't help feeling sorry for naughty little Peter - I challenge anyone not to feel a heartstring tugged when you see him crying - and cheering at his timely escape. The artwork in this series is lovely; I can highly recommend the rereading experience.
