More of a collection of cards than a book. I feel like I’ll be going back to it frequently, as the author advises. On my first read-through, I didn’t have a breakthrough, but I do feel like some seeds were planted. The pages within are prompts for the reader to reflect on.
UPDATE: 1 year later, I have not revisited the book.
I keep this book on my table and dip into a random page with my morning coffee. It's rare that it doesn't deliver a bite sized nugget of golden advice. If you struggle with traditional business books give this one a go.
That book should have been a card game or a calendar. The medium seems odd since each page is a bite-sized reflection (close to being a prompt, to be honest) that pushes you to reflect on it. There were a LOT of things that resonated deeply with me and the way I'm doing business, so I liked it, but it might be very subjective 😄.
The first time, I read it 3-5 pages at a time and took time to think about examples I've been through. Then I read it straight from start to finish. In between, I just opened a page from time to time.
