You've always been worthy. Don't you know that?

This was my first book by Susannah Nix and I'm in love. It won't be the last.
I didn't know what I expected from this book, but I really enjoyed it. Wyatt King is a character that has surprised me throughout the book. He loves flirting with women and has a reputation as a womanizer. Wyatt is a person who is always smiling, flirting and is happy but behind that facade there is much more, and has his doubts and fears.
Andie Lockhart is a character that is strong and smart and I love the confidence she has in Wyatt.
Their relationship is beautiful, always had a crush on each other, and how nice it was reading Wyatt opening up with her.
Can't wait to know more about Tanner and Lucy, and I hope we can also see more of Mia and Josh in the next books.
Sorry for spelling mistakes, english is not my first language.
2.5 rounded to 3.
Brother's best friend/Best friend's little sister is one of my least favourite romance tropes, particularly because the obstacles to the main characters' relationship seem flimsy at best. In this particular case, I really hated that Wyatt asked that they keep their relationship secret. It led to jealousy (on both sides) and a lot of feelings of inadequacy on Andie's end, that I didn't really want them to be together by the end of the book. So much of the book was spent in what felt to me like a toxic relationship, that by the time the big reconciliation rolled around I was ready for them to end it. I usually enjoy Susannah Nix's books but this was a miss.
