The Wishing Season

Well, I finished out this series with one that turned out to be my least favorite of the four. I'm noticing that I tend to connect least with characters who love to cook (weird, since I enjoy baking), but it doesn't always damage my rating. I guess what really damaged the rating (-1 star) is that the main characters were over-the-top physically aware of each other and engaged in some pretty heated kissing while in the house alone—and having a very scant faith message. This book could have read just fine for the general market, but I still enjoyed another trip to Chapel Springs. I am glad, though, that the last book of the series was so excellent, and this sets up for it well with Ryan buying the house.
