I definitely found this story interesting, with Bree coming back from a month's rotation as a doctor in a remote Alaskan village and landing plump in the middle of a nightmare. First there's the plane crash and the death of her good friend Jeremiah...then the discovery that he had some sort of mysterious secret life, and his stalkers expect her to figure out how to find what he stole from them. All of her friends may be in the crossfire when Bree gains a target on her back...but she has powerful allies in her rescuer David and his retired-Chicago-officer father.
I particularly enjoyed the father in this one...excellently drawn secondary character. I also really liked the leads and will be reading more of the series.
