This is a cute cover. Good representation of the main characters. Good composition. Interesting titile work.
I am more than likely going to be in the minority with this one but I struggled from beginning to end. All of the 3-Stars this one earned go towards the hero and many laughs out loud moments. As well as the secondary characters.
Mostly though I just could not get into this one. I didn't like how long the whole Chase situation went on. Then it was just resolved easy peasy. I kept expecting him to cause issues especially with his behavior, but nope. Which led me to wonder why his character was even included in the story. The couple had enough issues to overcome without basically making Reagan a cheater. And she did cheat IMO. I don't care if Chase turned out to be an abusive dick. She was emotionally cheating at the very least. Which leads me to my other issue. Reagan had ZERO backbone. Z-E-R-O. Not only did her inability to end things with Chase annoy me, but the whole lying about who beat her up made ME want to smack her upside the head. My other issue is that the ending was SO over the top melodramatic. Instead of shedding tears I just ended up rolling my eyes over it.
So ya, this one just wasn't a huge hit with me. The second half was the better part of the book. There were some HILARIOUS moments and like I said I ADORED Linc. If after the drunken kiss between Reagan and Linc she had dumped Chase and that whole situation had been left out this would more than likely had gotten another star from yours truly.
