This golden land

Fleeing a possible murder charge, a naive doctor's daughter boards a ship bound for Melbourne where she hopes to practice as a midwife. Once there, amid the turmoil of 1840s Australia, she meets and falls for two men, one an American photographer starting a new life in a new land, and the other a rough-and-tumble outlaw.
