Normally I like a pretty prose, that's one of my things, I'm a sucker for beautifully constructed sentences, unfortunately the prose here was more convoluted than pretty. I have only a vague idea of what happened in this novel (David, a dentist, has a mental breakdown (?) and there were things they called threats for some reason, and everyone behaved really bizarrely) and I probably won't remember any of it in a month or 2.
Favorite part of the book: “it felt like he was talking into a potato chip”
