Moving novel of Italian teen in Marseilles with Dad for medical test for which he has to stay awake for 48 hours. They wander the city on foot, befriend strangers, and have real conversations for the first time. See each other for the first time and liking what they see. Slow paced, meandering prose. Very enjoyable. Translated from Italian.
