4.5 stars.
It gets a drop in stars because I set it aside for a week or so after a couple chapters focussing too much on physical draw/what they were and weren't wearing while boating as a group made me lose interest. But when I picked it back up, I was instantly drawn back in by the mystery of the saboteur and the delight of following the story to the end. It gets extremely suspenseful, and I loved the parts about both of them learning to be brave...of Jim learning the parallel to Nehemiah, to not listen to the opinions of others, and Mary facing her fear of public attention.
This book has a strong Christian message, and also kept me guessing until almost the end with the intricacies of the mystery.
