I thought the last few volumes weren't quite as compelling, but the series still manages to be unique and full of potential to be something a bit more special than your average manga. I still highly recommend the series and believe it's one of the better ones I've read in awhile. Fushi's journey in this volume and the last few felt like a teenage stage, which I hope he learns from and grows from in subsequent volumes so we can move past the angst and move in a direction with more gravitas that was more apparent in the earlier volumes.
