A mediocre Spellman novel is better than most of what's on the shelves, and, sadly, this one proves it. Not as funny as the rest, but the character stuff (particularly Izzy's) is handled better than usual, I thought. The case was pretty interesting, too, and kept me guessing.
Not Lutz' best, but satisfying nonetheless. I'm waiting with baited breath for whatever she puts out next.
