Veil, Vol. 4

Veil is more of a dream you've had than a story you read, and it persists in the same way, with fuzzy details but emotions that definitely linger in your heart. Between an illustrated book and a manga, this two-volume story is constructed as a representation of small life moments between the two protagonists, interrupted by sublime illustrations that evoke a sense of reverie. The man is a police officer, and the woman is blind or, at least, never opens her eyes. Names, places, and the era don't matter, because our pleasure lies in simply watching them get closer to each other throughout the chapters.
