Waking The Dead: The Glory Of A Heart Fully Alive

I don't recall how many times I've read this book, but this is the first time I've listened to the audiobook. It's been awhile since I last read this and listening this week has been medicine for my heart.

That's what this book is all about. Finding healing for one's heart and learning to see one's heart as God sees it. There are some points of theology or ways Eldredge proposes God works that people will argue over, but those are the minor details to the major point.

Just reading this book and remembering these truths has brought new life to my heart and has helped me to remember to speak to other's hearts as well. I will read this book several more times in the years ahead.
