I loved the idea, but the story felt too short, and like it didn't have a proper ending. Still, I'll read more books by this author because his novels seem more interesting.
A truly great short story
Man, I truly lost track of time reading this. Why oh why did it end just when I was about to settle in for the rest of it? I was about to give up sleeping before work just to finish this book when the ending came upon me so unexpectedly.
This short story is quite simply great. I hope it's a prelude to more stories in this world. Brian, you've done it again. Thank you.
